Common questions about starting therapy

Complete the appointment request form and select a date and time for your free phone consultation. I will review your form and get back to you in 1-2 business days.
During your consultation, we will discuss your goals for therapy and what you are looking for in a therapist. We will then determine if we would be a good fit to work together. If we are, we will schedule your first session and get to work!

I would describe myself as a life-long overachieving perfectionist. My life checks all the typical overachiever boxes: I got straight A’s in school, had leadership roles in the numerous extracurricular activities I participated in, was the salutatorian of my high school class, graduated with honors from prestigious universities, and excelled in my career. I tied my self-esteem so closely to my achievements that it became paralyzing. I knew I couldn’t continue living like that. I decided to invest in attending therapy to address the anxiety, self-doubt, and stress that were hidden behind my accolades. This decision was life-changing! I am proud of my journey and the fact that I can now call myself a recovering perfectionist overachiever, who is no longer held back by unrealistically high standards, burnout, high-functioning anxiety, and stress.
